This is an awesome sight. The castle is built on a base of solid rock right in the center of the town of Falkenberg. I'm not sure which is most impressive, the castle or the rock formation it sits on. The formation looks as though someone had stacked enormous slabs in order to get the height needed. From the other side the approach is a more natural, gradual hill.
